“- You know what I like to hear most? - What? - Solid quiet. Perfect unbroken quiet.”
— Tennessee Williams, from The Collected Plays; “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,”.
Watch her face when she listens to her favorite song, or when she reads her favorite part of her favorite book, or when she’s watching her favorite movie. You see how happy she is? Try your best to keep her that happy.
My favorite thing about you
is your lips. No, your hips.
No, the way you untangle
yourself from me in the
morning to ask, is there any
coffee? My favorite way to
bleed is by your teeth. My
favorite time to scream
is when I’m on top of you.
And when I leave,
my favorite place to go
is right back to you.
In all these years, you never believed I loved you. And I did. I did so much. I did love you. I even loved your hate and your hardness.
She tastes like every dark thought I’ve ever had.
You belong to another time.

I love unmade beds. I love when people are drunk and crying and cannot be anything but honest in that moment. I love the look in people’s eyes when they realize they’re in love. I love the way people look when they first wake up and they’ve forgotten their surroundings. I love the gasp people take when their favorite character dies. I love when people close their eyes and drift to somewhere in the clouds. I fall in love with people and their honest moments all the time. I fall in love with their breakdowns and their smeared makeup and their daydreams. Honesty is just too beautiful to ever put into words.
I think one of my favorite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way through how much you enjoy them and their existence.
